About Templates
When an event is generated by the platform, emails and HTML can be generated and/or sent automatically to customers or members of your organization. To ensure that these generations are homogenous with your organization's identity, they can be configured in the platform to ensure consistency in the messaging.
You can automate emails to all types of users on the Orckestra Commerce Cloud platform, be they your customers or organization's employees. To do this, you can configure email templates in the email templates module of the Settings application that will be sent to the appropriate person once a trigger action occurs on the Orckestra Commerce Cloud platform. For HTML templates, you will also use the Settings application, but will instead be html templates in the module.
There are two types of email templates you can create:
• | Status Emails - These emails are sent to customers and let them follow the process as is occurs with no extra work done by your organization |
• | Shipment Emails - These emails go to Orckestra Commerce Cloud users so that they can follow your internal workflows. |

Within these templates you can include template variables for things that are situation and/or customer dependent such as names, urls, Trademarks ™, Registered Trademarks ®, Copyright © statements, Sender details, and Newsletters.
