Lookup Details Panel

Use the Lookup Details panel to view and edit the properties of lookups.

Accessing the Lookup Details panel:

1. In the Navigation Panel select Lookups.

A listing of the available Lookups is displayed.

2. Double-click the Lookup that you want to view.

The Lookup Details panel consists of the following tabs:


Display Names Tab

The Display Names tab is displayed by default when you access the Lookup Details panel. Use this tab to specify the description and the display names of the profile in the supported languages.

The Display Names tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name

Description

Name

Specifies the name of the lookup.

Description

Allows you to enter a description for the lookup.

Display Names

Allows you to specify display names for the lookup in each of the supported languages.

Default

Indicates which of the supported languages is the default language of the system.

Value

Expands to display all of the supported languages of the system.

Language drop-down

. Allows you to display a specific supported language.

Settings Tab

Use the settings tab to manage the values associated with the lookup. You can add values, specify their display names in the supported languages, specify the order in which they are displayed and also activate/deactivate the lookup values.

The Settings tab contains the following controls and commands:

Icon

Name

Description

 

Value Name

Indicates the name of the lookup value. This name must be unique amongst the values for this lookup.

 

Active

Specifies whether or not the related value is active. Only the active values are displayed when the lookup is used as an attribute. All new values are active by default.

 

Sort Order

Specifies the order in which the values are displayed when the lookup is used as an attribute.

 

Culture drop-down

Specify a language culture for the lookup display name.

 

Display Names

Specify display names for the value in each of the supported languages.

Add icon

Launches the Add New Value dialog box which allows you to add new values to the lookup.

 

Displays all of the supported languages of the system and allows you to specify the corresponding display names for the value.
