Shipping Provider Details Panel
Use the Shipping Providers Details panel to view and edit the properties of shipping providers.
Accessing the Shipping Provider Details panel:
| 1. | In the Navigation panel, select Shipping Providers. |
The Shipping Providers page is displayed. The page appears empty until you select a sales scope.
| 2. | In the Scope Selector, select a sales Scope. |
The list of shipping providers currently associated to the selected sales scope is displayed.
| 3. | Double-click the shipping provider that you want to modify. |
The Shipping Providers Details panel slides open.
The Shipping Provider Details panel consists of the following tabs:
Display Names Tab
By default, the Display names tab is displayed when you open the Shipping Providers Details panel. Use this tab to specify the description and the display names of the shipping provider in the supported languages.
The Display Names tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name |
The name of the shipping provider. |

Type |
(Display only). Indicates the type of shipping provider. The following are the Orckestra Commerce Cloud built-in shipping providers. Custom shipping provider types appropriate to your business needs might also be available here:

Active |
(Button) Used to activate the shipping provider for the selected scope and its child scopes. The Order system will only use/present active shipping providers. |

|
Description |
Enter a description for the shipping provider. |
|||||||||||||||
|
Display Names |
Enter display names in all supported language-cultures for the shipping provider. |
|||||||||||||||
|
Default |
Indicates which of the supported language-cultures is the default language of your commerce application. |
|||||||||||||||
|
Value |
Expands to display all supported language-cultures and you can view or modify the shipping provider's associated display names. |

|
Language drop-down |
Present only if Value is not expanded. Select a supported language-culture to view or modify the associated display name for the shipping provider. |

|
Tax Category |
Defines the tax category by which taxes on the shipping provider fees will be calculated. |

Settings Tab
Use the Settings tab to define the cost structure and shipping time for the shipping provider.
For Flat rate providers you can specify the rate that is charged per shipment. For Tiered Quantity providers you will need to specify the ranges of items and the price associated with each range of items. For Tiered Value providers you need to specify the ranges of cart values and the price associated with each range of values.
The controls and commands available on this tab vary depending on the type of shipping provider indicated on the Display Names tab.

Shipping time in days |
Specifies the estimated amount of time to deliver the shipment. |

Cost |
(For Delivery, Flat Rate and Pick-Up shipping providers). Specifies the rate that is charged if these methods are selected for an order. |

Tiered Quantity |
(For Tiered Quantity shipping providers). Specify shipping rates based on the number of items in the customer's cart. For each tier, specify the following:

Tiered Value |
(For Tiered Value shipping providers). Specify shipping rates based on the value of a customer's cart. For each tier specify the following:

Adding a new range of tiered values or quantities:
| 1. | At the tier row (the range) below which you want to add another range, click the  Add button on the right. |
A new empty tier row appears below the old row.
| 2. | In the new tier row, specify the From, To and Shipping Cost values. |
Removing a range of tiered values or quantities:
| • | Click the  Remove button to the right of the tier (the range) that you want to remove. |
The row disappears.
