Scope Details Panel
Use the Scope Details panel to view and modify the details of a scope.
You can access the Scopes Details panel in Diagram view or Tree view from the Commerce Modeler administration page.
Accessing the Scope Details panel from the Diagram View (quick way):
| 1. | In the Navigation panel, select Commerce Modeler. |
The Commerce ModelerDiagram View is displayed.
| 2. | Double-click the Scope that you want to view. |
The Scope Details panel slides open.
Accessing the Scope Details panel from the Tree View:
| 1. | In the Navigation panel, select Commerce Modeler. |
The Commerce ModelerDiagram Viewis displayed.
| 2. | Click  Tree View on the right side of the title area. |
The Commerce Modeler Tree View is displayed.
| 3. | Double-click the Scope that you want to view. |
The Scope Details panel slides open.
The Scope Details panel consists of the following tabs:
Display Names Tab
The Display Names tab is displayed by default when you view the Scope Details panel. Use this tab to specify the display names and descriptions for the scope in the available system languages. This tab contains the following controls and commands:

Description |

Name |
Displays the name of the scope. |

Type |
Displays the scope type. Possible values are: Global Scope, Sales Scope, Dependent Scope and Virtual Scope |

Display Name |
Specifies display names for each of the supported languages. |

Default |
Indicates which of the supported languages is the system's default language and you can specify the scope's display name, in that language. |

Value |
Expands to display all of the system's supported languages. |
|
Language drop-down |
Select a specific supported language and display the associated display name. |

Description |
Enter a description of the scope. |
|
Default |
Indicates which of the supported languages is the system's default language and you can enter a scope description, for that language. |

Value |
Expands to display all of the supported languages of the system. |

Select a specific supported language and display the associated description. |

Settings Tab
Use the Settings tab to set the default currency, the start and end date and the active status of the scope. This tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name |
Description |

Name |
Displays the name of the scope. |
|
Active |
Specifies whether or not the scope is active. Only active scopes are displayed in the Scope Selector. |

Currency |
Specify the currency used in the associated catalog for global and sales scopes. However, dependent scopes only display the currency value which is inherited from their parent sales scopes. This parameter is not displayed for virtual scopes as these scopes have no currency. |

Decimal Positions |
Indicates the decimal precision used for the currency. This parameter is not displayed for virtual scopes as these scopes have no currency. |

Start Date |
Specify a date on which the scope becomes available. |
|
End Date |
Specify a date after which the scope is no longer available. |
