About System Languages

You can support however many languages you want across all of your Orckestra Commerce Cloud and manage them in the Settings application. There will always be one language that is your Default System Language across all of your applications.

Note: The Default System Language must be set before you add any scopes to the Commerce Modeler. Once you add a scope, the Default System Language is locked and cannot be changed.

Additionally, you will not just be choosing between language monoliths such as English, Chinese, French, Spanish, etc. Instead, when selecting a language you will also select the country that language is being used in to ensure proper localization.

For Example: If you do business in Quebec you would not simply select French as a supported language, but French - Canada. Or if you operate in English both the United States and Canada you can support both English - United States and English - Canada to ensure that nothing looks out of place to your customers in either country.

Important: You cannot remove a language in use from the platform.
