Completing Shipping
A packed shipment with Ready for booking status is ready to be shipped to the customer. The term booking refers to reserving a shipping tracking number and selecting a carrier. This window displays information about the parcels and the items they contain, allows you to enter the shipping and return tracking numbers whenever needed, and print the packing slip as well as the shipping and return labels.
In this window, you will see:
•
The number of parcels included in the shipment in x/y format, the type of parcels and the number of items contained in each. |
•
Information about every item contained within the parcels. |
Note: The Mobile Store Fulfillment application can calculate the weight of a parcel and will provide it only if all the items it contains have a weight among their attributes and if the same unit of measure was used for all the items. When this is not the case, the Weight field shows NA.
