Creating Customers in a New Order
New customers need to be added to the customer database. First name, last name and an email address are considered essential requirements, but always aim to collect as much information as possible on a new customer. This can include home and work phone numbers.
When you start creating an order, it is possible that the customer does not exist in the database. If you cannot find the customer using the search bar, click Create Customer. A pop-up appears confirming that you want to move away from the order creation window. Click Yes.
