Searching for Products
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT > PRODUCTS
You can perform a full-text search for a product in the product catalog. The search is performed on all text fields within the catalog. The search field accepts the following search criteria:

Keywords in product names (Product name and variant name). For example: Jersey Crew Tee. |

Keywords in product description. For example: any word in the description: "Short sleeve basic crew neck t-shirt at impeccable value", it could be short, or sleeve, or t-shirt, etc. |

|
Product ID with and without variants. For example: 1613949. |
|
•
|
Product SKU with and without variants For example: 0001-V10801C-2BS. |

•
|
Default attribute values. |
|
•
|
Custom attribute values. |

Lookups*: the search is performed on the Lookup name, not its multilingual values. For example. The lookup value name is Raspberry. Their multilingual fields are: |
*Important: restrictions apply in lookups. The search is performed on the lookup name value, not their multilingual display names. For example, searching Raspberry returns products and variants using the lookup Raspberry even if its multilingual values are set to berry or framboise. However, searching Berry will not return any results.
You can also use the refinements on the left-hand side of the screen to narrow the search results based on your criteria. For more information about using refinements, see Refinement search (facet browsing).
