Edit Custom Security Roles Lightbox

Use the Edit Custom Security Roles lightbox to assign a set of permissions to multiple users or groups.

Accessing the Edit Custom Security Roles lightbox:

1. In the Navigation panel, select Custom Roles.

A list of the Custom Roles that are available is displayed.

2. Double-click one of the Custom Roles.

The Custom Roles Details panel is displayed with the Base Attributes tab displayed by default.

3. Select the Roles tab and click Edit.

The Edit Security Roles lightbox is displayed.

Editing Custom Roles

Use the Edit Security Roles lightbox controls to associate one or more System Roles with a Custom Role.

Name

Description

Name

Displays the name of the Custom Role that the System Roles will be assigned with.

Applications

Lists the Orchestration Console applications. Select an application to display the System Roles associated with the application.

Roles

Lists the System Roles associated with the selected application.

Selected Roles

Lists the System Roles that are selected for this Custom Role.

Remove All

Removes all the System Roles in the Selected Roles column.
