Configure the Login Options for Your Website
ORDER MANAGEMENT > CUSTOMER > ADMINISTRATION
As an administrator, you have the option to specify the type of login allowed for your website. This means that you can specify whether or not users' email addresses will be their user names.
If you decide to use email address as the login type customer service representatives will not be able to edit the username field.

In the Navigation panel select Configuration. |
The Profile Configuration Details panel is displayed.

Select the System Configuration tab. |
|
3.

In the Login Type section do one of the following: |

|
To restrict logins to email addresses only, select Email address. |
|
•
|
To allow the use of user names at login, select Username. |
|
4.
|
In the Allow Unregistered Customers section do one of the following: |
|
•
|
To allow unregistered customers, select Yes. |
|
•
|
To restrict the use of unregistered customers, select No. |
|
5.
|
When you are finished, click Save. |
