Specify a Date and Time for PickUp or Delivery

You can specify a date and time when a shipment should be fulfilled. This ensures that the pick and pack process is completed on time and in accordance with the schedule.

Depending on the fulfillment location settings, you might choose from a calendar picker (Schedule Fulfillment Dialog) or pick a time slot from a store defined schedule (Schedule Fulfillment Panel).

Using the Calendar Picker configuration

You can choose a specific date and time from a calendar picker by using the Schedule Fulfillment Dialog from the New Order Lightbox > Order Location section or the Order Modification Lightbox > Fulfillment section.

The Schedule Fulfillment dialog is the colorful small square dialog ( Popcellar USA > Store 150 - Vini uses the Dialog), not the old rectangle Schedule Fulfillment panel (Popcellar CA > Store Vineola or L'Echanson use the old panel). JM 11/30/2015

1. Select the Specific Date & Time Radio button or Click the Edit Date & Time Link.
2. Select a date. Your selected date is displayed.

When a date or time has been selected a status icon and message are displayed notifying you about the Expected Delivery Status or Expected Pick-up Status at the location.

The current time at the selected order location is displayed in two formats, the local time and the Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) time at the location.

3. Click Ok. The dialog closes and the fulfillment time slot is displayed in the Scheduled Fulfillment section. The time slot is reserved for the customer, but will not become permanent until the order is saved.

Using the Time Slot Schedule Picker Configuration

You can update the time slot schedule of an order using the time slot picker when modifying an order.

You can pick a time slot from a store defined schedule by using the Schedule Fulfillment Panel from the New Order Lightbox > Order Location section or the Order Modification Lightbox > Fulfillment section.

When modifying an order, if you pick a time slot from a store defined schedule, you must release a slot before you can pick a new time slot.

1. Select the Specific Date & Time Radio button or Click the Edit Date & Time Link.
2. OPTIONAL: Click and drag the Adjust Scale slider to change the vertical scale of the Schedule Fulfillment grid.
3. Select an available time slots. The available time slots are highlighted green.
If a slot has never been selected for the shipment, the calendar positions itself to the date/time of the next available slot.
If a slot has previously been selected for the shipment, the calendar positions itself to the date/time of that selected slot.
When selected, your time slot is highlighted blue with a clock icon in the lower right corner.

The availability of slots are validated when you edit an existing order, when they click Validate Order, and once more when Submit Order is clicked. Any issues are highlighted in the Fulfillment section of the Navigation Panel and in the Shipment header in the Fulfillment tab of the Order Modification lightbox.

When the scheduled date is reserved for an ASAP fulfillment date a Release Slot link is visible so that you can remove the assign schedule before clicking submit and re-assign a new one.

4. Click Save. The panel closes and the fulfillment time-slot is displayed in the Scheduled Fulfillment section. It is reserved for the customer, but will not become permanent until the order is saved.
