Managing User Passwords

You can manage User Passwords for the Orchestration Console from the Password tab in the User Details Panel. This includes keep current password, change the password immediately, or forcing a password reset.

The User Password reset function is typically performed by a Security Administrator with User Management permissions to reset a user's Orchestration Console password.

Alternatively, If you need to reset a customer password for a vendor's website, see Reset a Customer Password.

Changing the Password:

You can change an Orchestration Console password in the User Details Panel from the Security Permissions page in the Security Application.

1. Select and double-click a User.
2. In the User Details panel, select the Password tab.

The tab displays the three radio buttons as follows: Keep Current Password, Change Password, Force Reset Password.

3. Click the Change Password radio button.

Two fields appear below the radio button, New Password and Confirm New Password.

4. Edit the new password in the new fields.

The system validates that both fields are identical and that the Active Directory (AD) password policy is respected.

5. When you are finished, click  Save at the bottom of the Roles tab to save your changes.

The user can use their new credentials as soon as the New Password is confirmed.
