Deleting Template Variables

You can delete template variables for each scope defined in the system that you no longer require by using the Settings application.

Deleting template variables:

1. In the Navigation panel on the left, click Template Variables.
A list of all the template Variables that are defined in the Global scope is displayed by default.
2. Select the scope that you require by using the Scope selector. A list of all the template variables that are associated with the selected scope is displayed.
3. Double-click the template variable that you want to delete. The details panel for the selected template variable opens.

You can only delete template variables from the scope where they were initially created. If the Delete option is not available, the template might have been created in another scope. In this situation, the template needs to be deleted from that scope.

4. Click Delete in the details panel toolbar. A Confirm Delete dialog opens and the message Are you sure that you want to delete this variable is displayed.
a. Click Ok to confirm the deletion, The template variable is deleted from the system.
