Custom Roles Details Panel

Use the Custom Roles Details panel to view and modify Custom Roles that you have defined in the Orchestration Console.

Accessing the Custom Roles Details panel:

1. In the Navigation panel, select Custom Roles.

A list of the Custom Roles that are available is displayed.

2. Double-click one of the Custom Roles.

The Base Attributes tab is displayed.

The Custom Roles Details Panel consists of the following tabs:

Base Attributes

Use the Base Attributes tab to add or change the Display Name and the Description of a Custom Role.

The Base Attributes tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name

Description

Name

The Name of the shipping provider.

Active

Used to activate the Custom Role. The Security Permissions system only displays active Roles.

Description

The description for the Custom Role.

Display Name

The Display Name in all supported language-cultures for the Custom Role.

Default

Indicates which of the supported language-cultures is the default language for your commerce application.

Value

Expands to display all supported language-cultures and you can view or modify the Display Names associated with the Custom Role.

Language drop-down

Displayed if the Value is not expanded. You can select a supported language-culture to view or modify the associated Display Name for the Custom Role.

Roles Tab

Use the Roles tab to view and associate System Roles with existing Custom Roles to new Custom Roles.

The Roles tab contains the following information and controls:

Name

Description

View All Applications

Lists the System Roles and Custom Roles according to the selected application (Product Information, Order Management, Marketing, Settings, Security, Analytics, or Custom). The default is All Applications.

Role

The display name for the role.

Application

The Application that the Role was associated with.

Type

The type of System or Custom Role.
