Adding Permissions to a Custom Role

You can add System Role permissions to a Custom Role by using the Edit Security Roles Lightbox.

Adding System Roles to a Custom Role:

1. In the Navigation panel, select the Custom Roles tab.
2. Select a Custom Role and double-click it.
3. In the Roles tab, click  Edit.

The Edit Security Roles lightbox opens.

4. In the Edit Security Roles lightbox, select an application in the Applications column.

Use the Applications column to filter System Roles by application.

Custom Roles are not tied to a Scope, they are defined for the system as a whole and are linked to the Custom section.

5. Find the System Role that you require and click  Add to the right of the System Role name.

The System Role name appears in the Selected Roles list.

6. Find and select all the System Roles that you want to add to the Custom Role.
7. Click OK.
8. Click  Save to confirm your modifications.
