Deleting a Scope

Use the Commerce Modeler in the Settings application to delete a scope.

Deleting a scope removes the selected scope, any product information and any child scopes. For example: If you delete a sales scope, the related scoped items folder in the global scope, any virtual or dependent scopes that are a child of the sales scope, and the scope's catalog are also removed. |

You cannot delete the global scope. |

Deleting a scope also removes the scope from the customer database. The customers linked to the scope are not removed, but any links between customers and the deleted scope are removed. |

Deleting a scope will delete all information related to the scope and any of its child scopes. Because this action is permanent and cannot be undone you will be prompted twice to confirm the deletion. |

In the Navigation panel, select Commerce Modeler. |
|
2.
|
Select the scope that you want to delete. |
|
3.
|
Click Delete. |
|
4.
|
When prompted, click OK to confirm the deletion. |
Because this action is permanent and cannot be undone you are prompted a second time.

5.
|
Click OK to complete the deletion. |
The scope is deleted from the database and removed from the Business Model.
