Activating a product

Your products are visible in the Order Management application and are available for sale on the website when they are active. You can control your offering by activating and deactivating products as your business needs evolve. There are 3 ways to activate products and their variants:

Activating products using the toggle button Activating products using the toggle button or Activating variants using the toggle button
Plan ahead and schedule their activation and deactivation
Activate the product permanently

You can schedule the publication of products and their variants in the Product Management application. When products are created manually or imported from an ERP system , they may not be in an active state, or can require modifications before being published. Either way, you can plan ahead and activate or deactivate products and/or variants in the future.

Note: Products and variants can be scheduled in dependent scopes independently from their parent scopes.

When products and/or their variants are published and activated, they are immediately visible and available for sale in Order Management application and the website using Experience Management.

Tip: You can also differentiate which products are active and inactive in the tile view or in a list view.
