Store Details Panel

Use the Store Details panel to view and modify the details of a store.

Accessing the Store Details panel:

1. In the Navigation panel select Stores.

A listing of all the currently defined stores is displayed.

2. Locate and double-click the store that you want to view.

The Store Details panel slides open at the Store's Base Attributes tab.

The Store Details panel consists of the following tabs:

Base Attributes Tab

The Base Attributes tab is displayed by default when you view the Store Details panel. Use this tab to view and modify the basic default attributes of the store.

The Base Attributes tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name

Description

Name

Specify the name for the store. The name has to be unique to the store.

Store Number

Specify a unique ID for the store. This number will be used to identify the store for the purposes of fulfillment and for inventory.

Store Manager

Specify the name of the store manager.

Phone and Phone Ext.

Specify a telephone number and extension (if necessary) for the store.

Fax and Fax Ext.

Specify a fax number and extension (if necessary) for the store.

Email

Specify an email address for the store.

Active

Toggle between Active and Inactive. Use this button to indicate whether or not the store is active.

Store Type

Specify whether a store is one of the following types:

Physical - Used to indicate a physical store. Using this option you can specify the Fulfillment options for this store.
Virtual - Used to indicate an online store. If you select this option, the Fulfillment options revert to the default and the status and hours and fulfillment parameters cannot be modified.

Scope

Indicates which scope the store is associated with.

Scope picker icon

Change the store's scope. Opens the Edit Scope List lightbox.

Created Date

Displays the date the store was created.

Modified Date

Displays the date that the store details were last modified.

Last Modified By

Displays the name of the user that last modified the store details.

Custom Attributes Tab

The Custom Attributes tab contains a properties grid that you can use to view and modify the custom attributes of a store.

The Custom Attributes tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name

Description

Categorize view button

Displays the attributes in groups by category.

Alphabetic view button

Displays the attributes in alphabetic order.

Search Filter field

Filters the list of attributes based on the text entered.

Display Names Tab

Use the Display Names tab to specify the display names and descriptions for the store in the supported languages.

The Display Names tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name

Description

Display Name section

View or specify store display names in all supported languages.

Default (language) 

Displays the store display name in the default language of the system.

Value

Click the (expand) icon to view or edit store display names in all system supported languages.

(language drop-down)

Click the down arrow to select a supported language and view or edit the language-specific display name.

Description section

View or specify store descriptions in all supported languages.

Default (language)

Displays the store description in the default language of the system.

Value

Click the (expand) icon to view or edit store descriptions in all system supported languages.

(language drop-down)

Click the down arrow to select a supported language and view or edit the language-specific description of the store.

To view or edit a store name or description in a specific language in your browser, you must have the appropriate Unicode (ISO) character set installed on your computer.


 

Addresses Tab

Use the Addresses tab to manage the addresses associated with the store. You can add, remove, and edit addresses using this tab.

The Addresses tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name

Description

Name column

Displays the name of the address.

Address column

Displays the full address.

Contact column

Displays the contact information for the contact person associated with the address.

Preferred Billing

Not used for Stores.

Preferred Shipping

Not used for Stores.

Delete Address icon

Delete the selected address.

Add Address icon

Launches the Edit Address lightbox so that you can associate a new address with the store.

Edit Address icon

Launches the Edit Address lightbox so that you can edit the selected address.

Operating Status Tab

Use the Operating Status tab to override the standard statuses of a store (store status, delivery status, and pick-up status). The Operating Status is typically used for unplanned and unforeseen exceptions to the regular schedule. For example, closure due to a fire, or delays because of an accident. For regular and planned exceptions to the operating statuses, use the Exceptions section of the Store Hours, Delivery Hours, and Pick-up Hours tabs.

The Operating Status tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name

Description

Store Status section

Sets the store status.

Current Store Status

Select the current status of the store. Available options are:

Open - The store is operating according to the hours specified on the Store Hours tab (the default).
Closed - The store is closed. This setting overrides the opening hours specified in the Store Hours tab. When this option is selected, the Reason and Estimated Duration fields are displayed.

Reason

Enter the reason why the store is closed.

Note: Displayed if the Current Store Status is set to Closed.

Estimated Duration

Specify the length of time that the store is expected to remain closed. Use a spin box to specify a numerical amount and a drop down to select a time period (Minutes, Hours, or Days).

Note: The estimated duration is available if the Current Store Status is set to Closed.

Delivery Status section

Set the delivery status of a store.

Current Delivery Status

Select the current delivery status. Available options are:

Available - Deliveries are available according to the hours specified on the Delivery Hours tab (the default).
Unavailable - Deliveries are not available. This setting overrides the hours specified on the Delivery Hours tab. After selecting this option, the Reason and Estimated Duration boxes are displayed.

When creating or editing an order and the Unavailablestatus has been set, the delivery quote time in is not displayed in the Order Location tab.

An orange Delivery icon is displayed and an issue message is displayed:

An issue may impact the availability of the delivery service.

If a reason for overriding the status has been specified, it is displayed in a tool tip when hovering over the Delivery Status icon.

Reason

Enter the reason why delivery is unavailable.

Note: Available if the Current Delivery Status is set to Unavailable.

Estimated Duration

Specify the length of time for which delivery is unavailable using a spin box to specify a numerical amount and a drop down to select the time period in Minutes, Hours, or Days.

Note: Available if the Current Delivery Status is set to Unavailable.

Delivery Quote Time

Specify an expected time for all deliveries (30 minutes for pizza delivery, for example, or 1 week for shipping). Use the spin box to specify a numerical amount and the drop down to select the time period in Minutes, Hours, or Days. The default is 0 Minutes.

Delayed

Specify if deliveries are delayed. After selecting this option, the Reason and Estimated Duration fields are displayed.

Reason

Specify the reason why deliveries are delayed.

Note: Available if the Delayed option is selected.

Estimated Duration

Specify the expected duration of the delay using a spin box to specify a numerical amount and a drop down to select the time period (Minutes, Hours, or Days).

Note: Available if the Delayed option is selected.

Pick-Up Status section

Set the pick-up status of a store.

Current Pick-Up Status

Select the current pick-up status. Options are:

Available - Pick-ups are available according to the hours specified in the Pick-Up Hours tab (the default).
Unavailable - Pick-ups are not available. This setting overrides the hours specified in the Pick-Up Hours tab.

When Unavailable has been set, the Pick-Up quote time is not displayed.

An orange Pick-Up icon is displayed and an issue message is displayed:

An issue may impact the availability of the pick-up service.

If a reason for overriding the status has been specified, it is displayed in a tool tip when hovering over the Pick-Up Status icon.

Delayed

Specify if pick ups are unavailable. After selecting this option, the Reason and Estimated Duration fields are displayed.

Reason

Specify the reason why pick-ups are not available.

Note: Available if the Pick-Up Status is set to Unavailable.

Estimated Duration

Specify the length of time that pick-ups are unavailable using a spin box to specify a numerical amount and a drop down to select the time period(Minutes, Hours, or Days).

Note: Available if the Current Pick-Up Status is set to Unavailable.

Pick-Up Quote Time

Specify the expected time for pick-ups to be ready (for example, In store pick-up in 30 minutes) box to specify a numerical amount and a drop down to select the time period (Minutes, Hours, or Days). The default is 0 Minutes.

Delayed

Specify if pick ups are delayed. Upon selecting this option, the Reason and Estimated Duration fields are displayed.

Reason

Specify the reason why pick-ups are delayed.

Note: Available if the Delayed option is selected.

Estimated Duration

Specify the expected duration of the delay using a spin box to specify a numerical amount and a drop down to select the time period (Minutes, Hours, or Days).

Note: Available if the Delayed option is selected.


Store Hours Tab

Use the Store Hours tab to specify the opening and closing hours of the store as well as any dates or other times that the store will be closed.

The Store Hours tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name

Description

Time Zone drop down

Drop down list of world time zones. You can select the time zone in which the store operates.

You can set the store hours for week days. Supports multiple opening and closing hours per day.

(day column)

The days of the week

Opened column

For each day of the week, select the check box to indicate if the store is open; deselect to indicate that it is closed.

All Day column

Active if the Open check box is selected. For each day of the week, select the check box to indicate if the store is open all day. If selected, an Open All Day label appears to the right under Opening Hour. When the check box isnot selected, a time span row appears so that you can manually select Opening and Closing times.

Opening Hour column

Active if the Open check box is selected and the All Day check box is not selected. Click the Clock icon to open a time picker to select the time that the store opens. If the store is closed, a Closed label appears in this column.

Closing Hour column

Active if the Open check box is selected and the All Day check box is not selected. For each day of the week, click the Clock icon to open a time picker to select the time that the store closes.

Remove column

Remove column icon is present if All Day is not selected and there is more than one time span column. Click Remove column to remove the time span column beside it.

Add Hours column

Present if All Day is not selected. Click the add icon to add a new blank time span row to the day.

Exceptions section

Sspecify planned and regularly occurring exceptions to the opening hours (e.g. New Year's Day, promotional openings).

Name

Specifies a name for the exception. Use this name to differentiate between multiple exceptions.

Start Date (date picker)

Click the calendar icon to open a date picker to select the date that the exception begins.

End Date (date picker)

Click the calendar icon to open a date picker to select the date that the exception ends.

Opened

 Indicates whether or not the store is open during the period of the exception. The default is open.

Opening Hour (time picker)

Active if the store is Open. Click the calendar icon to open the time picker and select the time that the store opens.

Closing Hour (time picker)

Active if the store is Open. Click the calendar icon to open the time picker and select the time that the store closes.

Recurring

Specifies whether or not the exception is an annual occurrence. When the Recurring option is selected, the Start and End Date pickers do not display a year.

Remove icon

Removes the exception.

Add an Exception button

Adds an exception.

Delivery Hours Tab

If the Store Type is Virtual, this tab is inactive and cannot be modified.

Use the Delivery Hours tab to specify the delivery schedule for the store. You can set the times that delivery is available, and you can also set delivery time slots. By default, the delivery time parameters in this tab are set to those in the Store Hours tab, in this situation the Delivery Hours tab displays the same content as the Store Hours tab and the settings cannot be modified here. If you want to set custom delivery hours, you must select Custom in the Operating Hours Same as drop down. Regardless, you can divide the delivery hours into time slots.

The Delivery hours tab contains the following controls and commands:

Name

Description

Operating Hours Same as drop down

Select Store Hours to accept the Store operating hours as the delivery hours (the default). Select Custom to set your own delivery hours.

Manage Schedule check box

Select the Manage Schedule check box to make it possible to divide the delivery hours into custom time slots (the default). Deselect to disallow this feature.

Launch Manage Schedule lightbox

Launches the Manage Delivery Schedule lightbox so that you can specify custom delivery time slots. This icon is only active when the Manage Schedule check box has been selected.

(delivery hours table)

Set daily delivery hours in multiple segments per day.

(day column)

Lists the days of the week.

Available column

Delivery hours are Active if Custom is selected in Operating Hours Same As. For each day of the week, select Available to indicate if delivery is available; deselect Availableto indicate that delivery is not available.

All Day column

Active if the Available check box is selected. For each day of the week, select a check box to indicate if the delivery takes place all day. If a check box is selected, (the default) an Open All Day label appears to the right under Opening Hour. If a check box is not selected, a time span row appears so that you can manually select delivery times.

Opening Hour column

Field or time pickers are Active if the Open check box is selected and the All Day check box is not selected. Enter a time or click the Clock icon to the right of the field to open a time picker and select the time that the store opens. If the store is closed, a Closed label appears in this column.

Closing Hour column

Field or time pickers are Active if the Open check box is selected and the All Day check box is not selected. Enter a time or click the Clock icon to the right of the field to open a time picker and select the time that the store opens.

Remove icons

Present if All Day is not selected and there is more than one time span row. Click Remove to remove the time span row beside it.

Add Hours icons

Present if All day is not selected. Click Add Hours to add a new blank time span row to the day.

# of slots column

Present if Manage Schedule is selected. Indicates the number of delivery time slots that have been defined using the Manage Schedule lightbox for each day.

Name field

Pick-Up Hours Tab

If the Store Type is Virtual, this tab is inactive and cannot be modified.

Use the Pick-Up Hours tab to specify the schedule for in-store pick-up. This includes the time periods during which in-store pick-up is available, as well as the pick-up time slots.

The Pick-Up Hours tab contains the following controls and commands:

Description

Operating Hours Same as

Select Store Hours or Delivery Hours to accept the Store's operating hours as the in-store pick up hours (the default). Select Custom to set your own in-store pick up hours.

Manage Schedule check box

Select to make it possible to divide the pick up hours into custom time slots. Deselect to disallow this feature.

(launch Manage Schedule lightbox icon)

Launches the Manage Schedule lightbox to specify custom in-store pick up time slots. This icon is only active when the Manage Schedule check box has been selected.

(in-store pick up hours table)

Allows you to set daily pick up hours in multiple segments per day.

Fulfillment Tab

Use the Fulfillment tab to modify the fulfillment options for the store.

The Fulfillment tab contains the following settings:

If the Store Type is Virtual, these fulfillment settings are reset to their defaults and cannot be modified.

Name

Fulfillment Options

Groups the Fulfillment options together.

Shipments cannot be fulfilled and can only be picked up from this location:

Specify whether or not the store supports shipments that cannot be fulfilled and can only be picked up from this location (Fulfillment type=Ship to store).

Default setting: No

Note: This option can only be set to YES when all other Fulfillment options are set to NO.

Shipments can be fulfilled and picked up from this location:

Specify whether or not the store supports shipments that are fulfilled and picked up from this location (Fulfillment type= Pick-Up) .

Default setting: No

Note: This option can only be set to YES when Shipments cannot be fulfilled and can only be picked up from this location is set to NO.

Shipments can be fulfilled from this location and delivered to the customer:

Specify whether or not the store supports shipments that are fulfilled from this location and delivered to the customer (Fulfillment type=Delivery) .

Default setting: No

Shipments can be fulfilled from this location and shipped to the customer:

Specify whether or not the store supports shipments that are fulfilled from this location and shipped to the customer (Fulfillment type=Shipping) .

Default setting: No

Shipments can be fulfilled and transferred from this location to another for pick-up:

Specify whether or not the store supports shipments that are fulfilled and transferred from this location to another for pick-up (Fulfillment type=Ship to Store).

Default setting: No

Note: This option can only be set to YES when Shipments cannot be fulfilled and can only be picked up from this location: is set to NO.

Inventory Management

Groups the Inventory Management options together.

Show inventory status of products at this fulfillment location

Specifies whether or not the availability of products at this fulfillment location, When enabled, a CSR can view the product's availability when placing an order in theOrder Management applicationfor this fulfillment location.

Evaluate the inventory status of products at this fulfillment location:

Specifies whether or not the inventory status of products at this location should be evaluated.

Note: This option is disabled when Show inventory status of products at this fulfillment location is disabled.

Inventory information will be supplied from the following provider:

Specify an inventory provider from the following drop down choices:

Quantitative Inventory Provider - evaluates the inventory status of items assigned to this fulfillment location based on current quantities.

Scheduled Inventory Provider - evaluates the inventory status of items assigned to this fulfillment location based on defined schedules.

Default setting: Quantitative

The Inventory Provider option is only available when Evaluate the inventory status of products at this fulfillment location: is set to YES.

Specify the internal inventory-related location reference number.
