Adding Email Templates
SETTINGS > ADMINISTRATION
You can add email templates by using the Settings application. This is particularly useful when your business model includes multiple brands. This means that you can define integration specific email templates.
You can also use template variables in Email Templates. For more information about Template Variables, see Managing Template Variables.

In the Navigation panel on the left, click Email Templates. A list of all the email templates that are defined in the Global scope is displayed by default. |

Select the scope that you require by using the Scope selector. A list of all the email templates that are associated with the selected scope is displayed. |

Click Add. The Add Template dialog opens. |

a.
|
Type a Name for your new email template. |
|

|
Click Ok to confirm the addition, The email template is added to the email templates list and the email template details panel opens. |

Select a Language-culture for the email template that you want to edit. The language-culture can be changed without Edit function being activated. |

Complete the required fields as follows: |
|
a.
|
Type a Display Name (when in edit mode you can change the display name, but not the template name). |
|
b.
|
OPTIONAL: Select the Active check box to activate the email template immediately after the template is saved. |

Type a Sender Display Name. |
|
f.
|
Type a Receiver Display Name. |
|
g.
|
Type your Body message by using either the HTML Body or Text Body field: |

HTML Body - Use the HTML Body section when you want to edit the body of the message using HTML tagging or a HTML editor. You can cut and paste content into the HTML body, The level of formatting that is preserved varies depending on the source of the copied content.

Text Body - Use the Text Body section when you want to edit the body of the message using plain text. |
The Edit HTML button is only active when in editing mode. This button opens the Edit Content dialog with source controls, copy and paste controls, text formatting, layout formatting, link and anchor controls, text and background color, table and special character controls.

When you are finished, click Save. |
